The Blaine County Recreation District Pool Center is a popular attraction for local families and visitors in the summer. In an effort to expand community and visitor use, discussions to renovate the existing building and surrounding property has begun to determine the variety of activities and opportunities for potential users. The property is 4 acres and currently has a traditional swimming pool, kid’s pool, pool building and a pump track. Also on the property is a historic barn and open space which also serves as a natural drainage basin.

The master plan expands the water activities with additional pool areas, including spray pool, zero entry pool, leisure pool, waterfalls and a meandering creek, all for the enjoyment of children and adults. Other improvements planned are enhancing the natural area and introduce paths and single track trails; expansion of the bike’s pump track; enhancing overall landscaping included a new entry plaza; provide access and integrate the historic barn into the overall development; and offer passive lawn areas for family use.
