This is one of Pierce County’s first synthetic athletic fields, replacing the original natural grass field. The newly renovated field was surfaced with FieldTurf , a proven synthetic surface used worldwide including many college and professional football and soccer fields. The renovated field is used primarily by the Vikings soccer and football team, but also serves as a venue for numerous community sports and events.
