We have been fortunate enough to have designed wonderful residential gardens and landscapes in Japan, Hawaii, Sun Valley, Idaho and throughout the Puget Sound region. There are many factors that make residential design unique and challenging. We strive to develop a trusting relationship with our clients, as they must have confidence in us, to share their dreams, hopes and lifestyles for their home. It is our job to determine how best to incorporate their wants and needs into a design program that fits their property and budget. Each design is distinctive, as we create outdoor rooms, edible gardens, play areas, visual enjoyment and a place to recharge one’’s batteries. Challenges include dealing with difficult terrain, run off and site storm drainage, poor soil conditions, building codes and maximizing value.
