We have over two decades of experience designing school campuses and the plentiful site challenges and amenities associated with them. The property Todd Beamer was built on a large open meadow, gently sloping to the south west towards a wetland and conifer forest. The land told a story; about the history of farming and the prevalence of water on the site and throughout Federal Way.

At Todd Beamer High School, we were responsible for all the site design, including vehicular circulation, parking, plazas, athletic fields, landscaping and irrigation. We worked as equal partners with the architects and civil engineers. As the primary site designers, it was our responsibility to terrace the campus towards the south west maintaining the natural qualities of the land.
